Dr. Choi

Dr. Steve Choi developed a passion for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery during his third year as a dental student at the University of Southern California. Fascinated by the complexity and skill required in surgical procedures, Dr. Choi pursued advanced training in this field. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from USC, he attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned his Medical Degree (M.D.). Dr. Choi completed his internships and residency in General Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center. Licensed to practice both dentistry and medicine, Dr. Choi has been providing expert oral & maxillofacial surgical care for over 14 years.

As a father of four, Dr. Choi understands the anxiety that both parents and children experience during dental procedures. He is committed to offering minimally invasive surgical and anesthesia options, prioritizing patient safety and comfort to reduce the risks of complications.

Outside of work, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with his family, especially hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains. He also loves fishing and playing golf, indulging in outdoor activities whenever possible.
