My son has a lot of fear and anxiety around new experiences, and let's just say our first visit wasn't exactly smooth sailing. There was some serious kicking, screaming, and unfortunately, even some throwing up outside the office. Through it all, Dr. Sandu and his team were incredibly patient and understanding. They never made us feel embarrassed or like we were doing something wrong. They just kept a calm and positive atmosphere, and even managed to get a peek at my son's teeth! What really impressed me was the follow-up call we received from Dr. Sandu himself. He wanted to check in and see how my son was doing after the whole ordeal. It showed a genuine level of care that goes above and beyond. Finding a dentist who can handle – and even thrive with – special needs kids can feel impossible. My son who we had to take to get put under for his last dental treatments because of such bad anxiety and fear felt so confident with this doctor after his cleaning he allowed him to do his filling with just laughing gas and numbing. I was shocked since he normally works himself up so bad he makes himself sick all other doctors won’t even bother. I highly recommend anyone looking for a pediatric dentist to come here ! He really is awesome and my kids love him ! The office is super clean , kid friendly with video games, wall murals , tvs in the ceiling so kids can watch during treatment , and state of the art equipment. I highly recommend him ! Ok, Dr. Ruben is one amazing dentist! My 9 year old had a cavity for over a year, and we tried 3 dentists and none of them could do... read more it because he was very nervous and would not stay still. But Dr. Ruben was patient and took time to explain him what he does and was able to do that one cavity without any complaints from my son! I was left speechless and so so so happy!!
